I've often thought about sharing some of my favorite things. Things that seem to make my life easier. More fun. More interesting. I thought it would be cruel to keep them all to myself. Maybe someone else would like it too.
But then I thought I should somehow link my favorite things to a place where they could be purchased (just in case you decide you can't live without it).
So ... after lots of thinking and research, I have created an Amazon store. In a nut shell, it's a collection of items (from the trusty Amazon.com) that I picked as my favorites. The items are arranged by category and I've even written comments by some of them. When you purchase from my "store," you are purchasing directly from Amazon - I'm just recommending the product. Does that make sense?
The added bonus is that if I sell any items from my store, I get a teeny little commission.
I definitely need to also mention that I have absolutely no intention of turning my blog into one big advertisement. Not even a little one. I see this as a great way to share some of my favorite things with all of you.
This is definitely a work in progress. I'll keep adding items and writing comments on them. Do you have and ideas or suggestions?

Interesting idea, I have really enjoyed your posts through your water crisis. I just cannot believe the combination of ice, snow and water you experienced. I am also jealous of how big your back yard is.
